Apple review information

SecureWave is a user-initiated VPN client.

SecureWave uses Apple Network Extension with a Packet Tunnel Provider so signed-in users can start and stop encrypted VPN tunnels from the app. SecureWave does not use Hotspot Helper and does not authenticate users to captive Wi-Fi networks.

Review checklist

What reviewers can verify from the website.

The website provides the required public support, privacy, terms, and download paths. The installed app performs the VPN work on the device.

VPN behavior

Users sign in, choose a server, tap Connect, and can disconnect at any time. The website never claims to create a VPN tunnel in the browser.

Privacy and support

Privacy, terms, and support pages are linked from this page and the site footer so review teams can inspect product boundaries and contact paths.

Distribution status

The verified WireGuard-only Linux ARM64 beta is downloadable now. macOS remains coming soon until a signed native package has completed its release checks.

Not a Hotspot Helper app.

SecureWave does not scan, classify, authenticate, or manage captive Wi-Fi hotspots. The app does not request the Hotspot Helper entitlement. Its Apple-side VPN implementation is scoped to the Packet Tunnel Provider extension under NetworkExtension.
